  • I think it is his way of assuring others that he doesn't fear competitors... or the success of other nations. He is a conciliator, not a divider...he sees the worldview, not the insular, chauvinistic, nationalistic view to which we have been exposed the last 8 years. I personally think it is refreshing to find someone confident enough in his country to be able to praise other countries and encourage them and not make them feel as if he views them as threats! :)
