Should the Guantanamo detainees be stored at an empty maximum security prison in Illinois?

This prison is only an hour from where I live. I have no idea what these pea-brained politicians of IL are thinking! Thomson, IL is a very small town with a population of less than 600 people. It also sits right along the Mississippi River. Now, if anyone ever decided to do a "jail-break" there is easy access to the river plus any terroristic attacks would take out completely this small town. These prisoners do not belong on US soil period. Gitmo is set up to hold them properly and should be used to do so. IF for some reason, any of these detainees were released from prison on any technicality, I would feel very uneasy. Like I said, I only live an hour from this prison, what would stop the evil from taking a school full of children hostage? We must remember that these men do not think twice about dying and taking out as many with them as possible. This is a bad idea, maybe even a dangerous idea. I realize that the politics that come outta IL have always been a bit on the slower side but this is beyond belief in my book.
