Many people, but to list only one of them, William McGonagall, a 19th century Scottish poet who holds the title of 'The World's Worst Poet'. His poetry was truly terrible by most people's standards, he gave live performances during which the audience often hurled rotten fruit and eggs at him. But he kept writing poetry, and continued performing it, until the last year of his life in 1902. And his poems are still in print to this day. You've got to admire that kind of determination in the face of adversity.(Or perhaps it was just a case of Obliviousness to the face of adversity, but either way it's admirable.)
