I raised Zucchini and Pumpkin for some reason this summer - Oh I know, to make zucchini breads, muffins etc and pumpkin breads, pies etc. Actually I do not use the over in the summer. We have 90+ temperatures around here and live in a 450 square foot space (one bedroom, one bath and the rest of the house is just one large room). Thus when temperatures drop to 60F and lower I start baking nearly daily to heat the house and to provide us with lots of good things to eat. I do lots of baking for Thanksgiving and Christmas, muffins, cookies, pies for the family get togethers - figure 20 planned people for dinner with 30 'drop ins'. LOL I also bake a lot of bread, biscuits and use the oven to cook meals in the winter.
