There have been rules of war 'in the name of god';
The theory 'WHY' one should fight is in Hindu-Geeta
& the ptactical 'HOW' one should slaughter the enemy
is in Muslim Koran!
*
Both contain a lot of unnecessary stuff, but comparatively, Quran has more BS than Geeta,
and almost everything in the Bible-Torah
is pure, unadulterated BS!
*
Bible's story of how Joshua won the 'siege of Jericho' (by hiring prostitutes as spies, multiple perambulation & shouting together) is utterly ridiculous, --except for espionage and prostitutes!

Matthew 24:6 "you will hear of wars, and rumors of wars, ". There are 18 others, if you want the list let me know, I'm glad to help. +4
The only rule I can find in Matthew 24 is:
Matthew 24:13 "...but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."
And I suppose "to stand firm" is to observe Exodus 20:13 "Thou shalt not kill"?
-
"There are 18 others, ..."
Yes please.
by StupidGirl on November 14th, 2009
Well, that isn't what that means. The bible tells of wars, and that there are certain things we should fight for.
Jos.11:23, 1Sam.15:18, Ps. 68:30, 120:7, 144:1, Isa. 2:4, Da. 9:26, Rom. 7:23, 2Cor. 10:3, 1Pet.2:11, Rev. 12:7, 19:11, and wars..Ps. 46:9, Mt. 24:6..."thou shaly not kill", is more personal, as to the shedding of inocent blood, killing on purpose without cause,or reason, ect. Hope this was helpful. +5
by Pistachio on November 14th, 2009
It seems to that the "sword" Jesus brought was sleight of mouth, and that the "wars" they "fought" were discussions they had?
-
1Sam 15:9 "...and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse..."
Ps 120:9 "I am for peace: but when I **speak**, they are for war."
Rom 7:23 "...warring against [the law of] **my mind**..."
2Cor 10:3 "For though we walk in the flesh, **we do not war after the flesh**"
1Pet 2:11 "...which **war against the soul**..."
Mt 24:6 "And you shall **hear** of wars and **rumors** of wars: **see that you be not troubled**..."

Yes. War shall only be engaged if it is necessary for proper reasons. Such as freeing innocent people or establishing justice and peace. People think war is murder. Murder is the killing of innocent people. Taking lives of corrupt persons to save lives of the innocent is not. We should only engage in war if it is absolutely necessary for the good of humanity. I think the US has engaged in enough murderous wars to loose the title "under God".
Where in what book?
by StupidGirl on November 14th, 2009
not too sure... I know we covered 2 chapters of it in our religion books so it's in there somewhere. google it.
by Anonymous on November 14th, 2009
I think you made that up based on your own opinion.
by Randoley on November 15th, 2009
lol . try this http://www.evilbible.com/Murder.htm
by The Anonymous Witch on November 15th, 2009
evilbible.com is evil. It does not give the full story, or explainer how all of these laws were given to a certain tribe of people living in a very isolated part of the world 4 thousand years ago. It takes scripture massively out of context with no explanations. Anyone without any biblical knowledge or already has a hatred to wards God would be fooled by what evilbible says, but I'm not.
by Randoley on November 15th, 2009
It's actually not my opinion. There are 2 chapters of it in my religion books with scriptures that come straight from the bible. My opinion is to just not have war in the first place. But the bible does make it clear that war shall be engaged when completely necessary and does not involve murder. God does murder in the bible. He floods the entire earth and also orders moses to murder an entire city because of their acts of idolatry. I'm not judging God and I know that he did this for a good reason. It also says in scripture when God sees the souls of sinners in hell he cries. War is absolutely necessary if it is for a good cause and that is not considered murder, because murder is the killing of "innocent" persons. It is in the bible, i'm just sure where.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
Randoley you are absolutely right. There are a lot of people who take scripture out of context. Such as the extremists in the Islamic faith. Taking words out of cotexts ends up with extremely violent and bad results, and often concludes with the death of innocent people. But in some cases war just needs to happen. Such as Hitler. He needed to be stopped and I'm pretty sure we had God's full support because it was a Just War. We destroyed the evil. Randoley i definitely did NOT make this stuff up. I've taken 9 religion classes, 2 of which are extremely advanced in which i learned what i am talking about now. And that site is evil, don't go to it.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
God is extremely complex to understand. His ways vary depending on how we act. We are not suppose to question him, but accept him and follow him because he will lead us to eternal love.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
Advanced classes should have equipped you to sight your sources.
by Randoley on November 15th, 2009
Hmm. well it was over 10 years ago so i forgot most the 10000 scriptures i had to memorize... Your a person who needs proof to believe something. If you believe in God without seeing him, you can trust me, and that my words are of the Scripture.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
I don't need proof to believe, but I don't know you I have no reason to trust you. I believe every word of the Bible to be God's true words, but war isn't something taught in church, a search results in nothing, and I just want to read what it says.
.
What you stated sounds a little too touchy feely to me and I want to see where you got it from.
by Randoley on November 15th, 2009
hm. well my name is pedro perez i'm from mexico, i grew up living off the land in an extreme catholic family. during high school i was forced to move to the US illegally. I was deported and 4 years later i moved back to florida. Now i study literature, human nature, and religious impact and influence on the ancient world and am going to attend college in mexico city in a few months. i hope you can trust me now. What i have been saying was taught to me by the wisest woman i know (God bless her). She taught us what Just War was. What i am saying is the truth of God. War shall not be taken part in when dealing with greed or selfish acts. Such as the US invading Iraq for oil. that's a corrupt war. Your right, war isn't condoned in church. But they do teach the different kinds and when it is Just or not. As for the scripture. I am very sorry but i really do not know where to begin looking for scriptures. That's up to you, but i hope you can take my word for it.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
they don't teach war, but simply how to deal with it when it comes around.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
"i hope you can trust me now."
To me it's not about trust, it's about substantiating your claims with actual material so we have have something to talk about besides how much we (don't) trust you. I'm not out for your opinion, I want facts.

by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
Yes stupidgirl you have made very clear a hundred times before you do not trust me. Why? i really don't know. The Christian religion is founded on faith, based on faith, and you have to obtain faith to be a part of it. If you do not have faith than you simply would not understand this religion. If you do not have faith in me thats your problem, please keep it to yourself. Please stupidgirl i have been educated for 9 years in this subject, you have not. I have spent over a month going over chapters of war in "CATHOLIC RELIGION CLASS", you have not. I have read the bible six times, again, you probably have not. I know exactely what i'm talking about. If you want facts than search it yourself, thats really not my job because i have a life and things to do today. Plus i wouldn't know where to begin. I definitely have more experience than you in this subject, so do not try and debate whether what i say is false, because i know it's not, thats all that matters.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
You are not interested in this subject, rather proving me wrong because you clearly do not like me. I think it's childish and immature. I know this because you've responded on 2 other questions and harassed me for no apparent reason when i was just trying to answer a the question. the first time i even forgave you and was willing to forget about it. I guess you cannot handle forgiveness, again another example of how you are blind of true Christian teachings. I told you i would respect you if you respected me, again you chose to disrespect me. I am even willing to forgive again because i stand by my morals. But you have to work with me here and stop acting like a three year old, because i am DEFINITELY more experienced. I've spent my whole life dedicated to this religion, so please do not insult my intelligence.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
When are you going to stop talking about yourself and how you feel and put some material on the table instead?
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
Clearly, the Christian ideal is total elimination of war and brotherly love among all people. However, in this imperfect world, war may be forced on those who do not desire it. St. Augustine (354 - 430) and St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) are primarily responsible for formulating the theory of the Just War which has remained the majority Christian approach to war to this day. There are many variations on the just war theory, but these are the basics:
* There must be a just cause for the war.
o War must be waged only in response to certain, grave and lasting damage inflicted by an aggressor.
o The motive for war must be advancement of good or avoidance of evil.
o The ultimate objective of war must be to bring peace.
o Revenge, revolt, a desire to harm, dominate, or exploit and similar things are not justification for war.
* Every possible means of peacefully settling the conflict must be exhausted first.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
all thanks to "http://www.twopaths.com/faq_war.htm". This information has been printed in chapters of religion books and has been covered in classes in catholic schools, colleges, and even in church. So Stupidgirl, you really have nothing to say now. It has been quoted "Just war theory which has remained the majority Christian approach to war to this day". You have no comeback or argument to state at this point because you have been proven wrong. Next time try trusting someone.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
@Randoley - you say that site is evil .. and all it contains is bible quotes ... what does that tell you . --you also say that you beleive every word in the bible is gods word .,, sorry . but those quotes sound like they were written by man to control man in an attempt to gain money and power , and rid the compition , while brainwashing nice people like you into killing witchs , other faiths etc... and fighting their war for them .- we dont blame you .. you were socialy programed , you are a victim too.
by The Anonymous Witch on November 15th, 2009
AnonymousWitch, randoley had it right. That site was composed of people who take literal meaning and take phrases and quotes out of context, twisting them around, and thinking they mean something else. It happens a lot. Those are not bible quotes. But twisted words. Trust me, if it were like that than you would see christians killing homosexuals.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
"St. Augustine (354 - 430) and St. Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) are primarily responsible for formulating the theory of the Just War..."
How nice of them to dump Exodus 20:13 and justify war.
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
@ El Topo --sadly it is ""taken out of context"" by christians .. witchs etc.... are still being killed in some countries today.
and please dont try to tell me the witch trials in america did not happen ... or that it is hiostoricly out of context .
-killed because deemed "not with the church" !
by The Anonymous Witch on November 15th, 2009
Stupidgirl i have gone over this above. the word "murder" means the killing of innocent people. "Just Killing" is the killing for a specific and just reason which applies directly to "just war". You know nothing of this religion and you show it by expressing ignorance with each posting. In your attempt to make me look foolish you have only made yourself look foolish in the process. It is VERY clear that you do not understand the definition of murder nor anything of this topic.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
Yes anonymouswitch i know. Christians have taken it out of context. It's like that in other religions too. Now i'm not from america so i don't know a whole lot about the witch trials but i did know they happened. It is wrong and unethical to associate those christians with christians now. It's like thinking all Muslims are terrorists. the truth of that is that like us, the Islamic faith does not associate themselves with them or consider them part of the islamic faith. that would equally apply to christians as well. In Africa i know witches are sometimes killed, but in most parts they are excluded and driven into exile. Sad stuff.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
Stop talking about how you feel. I don't care.
Where does the bible define the differences between murder and killing? Facts please.
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
I wasn't talking to you stupidgirl i was talking to anonymouswitch, pendejo. stupidgirl it's in the definition of murder that it is unjustful. "just killing" is the killing of unjust persons in order to establish peace and justice. It is not in the bible because it is common sense and just war is already in there so you can distinguish the two very easily, or for you it might be a bit of a challenge.... haha.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
"...and just war is already in there..."
Where exactly?
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
Romans 13:4. It simply states that those who do wrong under God will be punished by the swords of his followers. This applies to governments as well to express just war. Anymore questions?
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
Yes, when are you going to be the next pope considering you claim yourself to be the top authority in this field?
-
Also read my comments on Pistachio's answer then read Romans 13:4 again.
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
Romans 13:4 reads: "For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil."
Where is the part justifying physical war?
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
I've been trained to be very knowledgeable in the subject along with many others. I didn't state the scripture exactly the way it was, i just dumbed it down for you.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
Yes I know you think you're the greatest. Anyway, let's talk facts:
Where is the part justifying physical war?
Where does the bible distinguish between killing and murder?
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
Are you blind? it states followers of God may partake in the punishing of Evil. Just war is exactly that, just on a bigger scale. I really don't know how you cannot see this.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
And i already told you. romans 13:4 is the punishing of evil, also known as "JUST KILLING" killing for a just reason. the real definition of murder is killing inhumanely and unjust without a proper authority or reason. IT'S SO EASY TO GET! do you see the difference?
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
"the real definition of murder is..."
Where does it say that in the bible?
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
I'm not Catholic, and I do not believe anything that the Catholics Believe except for Who Jesus is. Since I am not Catholic I want you to supply scripture verses.
by Randoley on November 15th, 2009
@ El Topo--- you said . """ It is wrong and unethical to associate those christians with christians now""" .. then who is still telling people now that witchcraft , wiccans , witchs etc.. are evil .. even though they are natural healers , helpers and lovers of nature ??? who is saying harry potter is evil for & warping children .. even though it is them that recruit , baptize , child draft kids into their cult while the are young and do not know better ?
by The Anonymous Witch on November 15th, 2009
Jesus was a warlock himself :D
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
actually , a male witch is just called a witch .. "warlock" just sounded "cooler" in the movies .. it actually means "oath breaker " ,, and is deemed an insult . ;-)
by The Anonymous Witch on November 15th, 2009
so your whole perspective on catholics is that we all secretly want to kill witches, wiccans, whatever.. you grouping what "some people" do with the whole religion. Do you see something wrong there? STupidgirl, everyone at the time knew the definition of murder, you seem to be the only one who doesn't. maybe you should work on fixing that. Randoley i've posted a website and some scripture verses above.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
"so your whole perspective on catholics is that we all secretly want to kill witches..."
Some want to kill 'em, others are just rude because they have this illusion they're better than someone else.
-
"...everyone at the time knew the definition of murder, ..."
It looks like it's not really in the bible, is it?
-
"...you seem to be the only one who doesn't."
Explain me. I've asked you like 5 times now.
-
"...maybe you should work on fixing that."
Jesus was humble, maybe you work on that. You'll need it for when you become the next pope.
by StupidGirl on November 15th, 2009
Stupidgirl it is in the bible, it's one of the commandments, God was angry when Cain killed his brother because clearly it was uncalled for. but he later tells his followers it's ok to Kill evil which means obviously he was fine with it. So it's pretty much there. I'm not implying i'm a genius, you do. I simply put i was more educated in this topic here and your angry because everything you've thrown at me i've proven wrong. Grow up.
by Anonymous on November 15th, 2009
Are the people killing withes Catholic or Protestant?
by Randoley on November 15th, 2009
@El Topo -- im saying your faith was started that way ..and is what it is today because of it ..and you are part of it .
i would not be proud to be in a group that not only killed their way up. but stole holidays and rituals from the pagans and called them their own , drafts kids before they are even born by only marring catholics to eachother with the promise to raise their kids as the same . lies , cheat , murder , steal, smear campaigns .etc.. and then tell you it's bad . and lie to you .
by The Anonymous Witch on November 15th, 2009
@ Randoley - christians
by The Anonymous Witch on November 15th, 2009
That is not a good answer. For hundreds of years people have been blaming Christians for atrocities, but when you look at it the atrocities were dine by one group, Catholics. I myself am not a Catholic and when I get blamed for the Inquisition or the Crusades I don't like it. If you are going to blame Christians blame the right ones. Also the holiday thing, you can pin that on the Catholics too.
.
Are you honestly telling us that you will not raise your children with the beliefs that you hold?
by Randoley on November 15th, 2009
i'm saying christianity was started that way ... the "branching out " within the faith happened later . so i say "christians.
and , i would let my kids follow what ever path they want . even yours.
by The Anonymous Witch on November 15th, 2009
That isn't the way Christianity started at all. Catholics say they started it and were the first, but that's just propaganda. The first Christians were just believers meeting in back rooms and homes. This went on for a hundred years or so until the Catholics came along and forced people to convert by the end of a sword. For hundreds of years the Catholics were a lot like the Taliban is today. There is a movement in America and Europe right now that is trying to get back to their original roots, believers meeting in homes and back rooms worshiping God, following Jesus' teachings and telling people about salvation. I am a part of one of these groups.
.
Any good parent is going to teach their kids what they think is best for them to grow up and be good adults. Also any good parent will let them follow their own paths as adults. Christian parents are no different in this. I think you have a distorted view of Christians based on a Catholic view, but we are not like that at all.
.
As for holidays that is another thing done by Catholics. Christmas and Easter was not celebrated by Protestant until about 100 years ago because of their origins and Pagan practices. I do not celebrate those holidays and I know several others who do not either because we see them as lies and pagan. I do not see Christmas and Easter as being honorable to Jesus in any way.
.
I think you need to stop painting all of as with your giant brush and focus your anger on the right ones.
by Randoley on November 15th, 2009

" drafts kids before they are even born by only marring catholics to each other with the promise to raise their kids as the same . lies , cheat , murder , steal, smear campaigns .etc.. and then tell you it's bad . and lie to you ."
.
In every conversation I have been in when you get involved it goes in the same direction. You can not stop the spread of hate by telling lies about the people you yourself are trying to stop. The evilbible is propaganda and your claims are lies. You will not listen to reason or logic. You see all believers in Jesus as the same. You hate us.
.
I have read all of the Harry Potter books, I go to all the the movies in costume, and I have meet some of the actors and have autographed photos of them in my home. My friend Amanda is a wiccan and we have theological conversations that go on for hours. I have no intention of burning her. If there are people in this world burning people for being witches then they are not doing it under the authority of Jesus or God.
.
Remember, you joined the discussion and started this. We tried being patient with you when you changed the conversation (as you always do) and tried explaining things to you, but your bigotry gets in the way.
by Randoley on November 16th, 2009

When I said I wasn't Catholic and don't lump us together that meant nothing to you. I don't know what Mark (the leader of my church) would say about witches. It isn't a topic of discussion, ever.
by Randoley on November 16th, 2009
that is all i was getting at ,, i'm gussing he will say devil , evil , hell etc .. these are the lies that hurt us and lead to other acts . it is a smear tactic . would you not blame me for defending against it . ?
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
See? You jump to conclusions based on you bigotry. I know the man and don't know what his answer would be. You are the same as people who think all black people are gang bangers.
by Randoley on November 16th, 2009
i said "i'm guessing " .. you are the one jumping .. and what's this -- "people who think all black people are gang bangers. "--- "We tried being patient with you" etc.. there you go .. trying to recruit again ...and gain support . we are the only ones talking here . this could have stopped when i said " would you not blame me for defending against it "
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
thanks for backing me up Randoley. anonymous witch, There is absolutely nothing i can say that won't go straight through your head. But i'll at least try. "Again, not every single catholic is the same. For some reason you think this is the middle ages, it's definitely not. Randoley makes a good point of the racism involved with African americans. I know people that are tricked into believing all black people are in gangs and have no education. Your no better than a racist, if anything you're below a racist. Because even a racist can look at a successful minority with good character and not hate him. You on the other hand think that over 2.1 billion people on the face of the earth are still killing witches which don't exist. And you really don't see anything wrong with that? Children learn things while growing up. If they are surrounded by Spanish they will probably know spanish duh. If they are catholic theyre probably going to be catholic. This is called culture and tradition and without it everyone would be plain and bland. What you believe is expressing hate and blasphemy towards other cultures which aren't the same as yours, which is one hundred percent racism. because what's the definition of race? A group of people united or classified together on the basis of common history, nationality, or geographic distribution. although you've probably never been called a racist and it probably hurts to know the truth, but that is what you are definitely. You cannot deny this because above you show examples of hate and intolerance toward my culture because it's not how you like it. If you will allow me i can forgive you for the blasphemous insults towards my culture and way of life, and we can work on educating you. I accept all religions and cultures, even yours whatever it may be. the first step in a peaceful world is accepting other cultures.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
you dont seem to understand. first of all this has nothing to do with race AT ALL ! ... and the only hate involved is from your side .. i am not name calling here .. i'm defending ,, and spreading awareness .. i am saying christianity does not accept my culture ....it is the "rasist" as you want to call it . we are the victims ...
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
i am being nice here .. it is you 2 that are name calling and trying to pull on other people and groups to gain support and try and make me look bad ... there is no hate here from my end ... you must be looking for it , to feed yours .
i will say again ... this could have stopped when i said "do you blame me for defending it " ?
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
You tell me your defending your culture? I don't even know what your culture is and i said above that i accept your culture whatever it may be. really, go read it. whats next, mm yes, this has everything to do with race. you probably think race only applies to skin color. Well it doesn't, if you looked i posted the definition of race above and it says it is a group of people united or classified together by nationality, geographic distribution, and common history. I'm trying to defend my religion here because you're saying things about it that aren't true. And you can't expect to know more about it than i do. I grew up with it, have been taught it nonstop for two decades. There is definitely hate coming from your end because you are committing an extreme crime in my religion called "heresy". I'm pretty sure i was willing to accept you and forgive you and still am. That's not hate, that's what this religion has taught me. it has taught me love for my enemies.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
and let me say it again, you have nothing to defend here because we don't know what your defending. "we don't know what your culture is so how are you defending it?". You need to learn to be tolerant and respectful of other cultures. I am aware that there has been corruption and things the Catholic church isnt proud of, but you have to understand that I have had NOTHING to do with any of it. so accusing me and the whole religion of what others do is just plain ridiculous. Especially when you know it. I've never killed a witch, nor will i ever want to. I've never started a war, i never express hatred to any religion because i respect everyone. even you, no matter what your religion is. But you have to do the same so we can all get a long. THIS is what christianity teaches. I also follow Islam and Buddhism. I love culture and religion. But i do not like heretics or racism. so please understand
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
i refuse to use raceism as comparable . so i am saying it's you ... and you are saying it's me back .. . a neverending cycle obviously ..
so let me ask you this .. what would your paster say ? about witchcraft ? ...this is an honest sincere question .. what do you think he would say ?
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
heresy more than racism. Before i answer your question i would like to tell you something. You said it's a never ending cycle right? you blaming me, me blaming you.. If you look above i offered peace and acceptance of your culture and religion and i said was willing to respect you if you did the same, also i said i love my enemies. Wouldn't that put a stop to this cycle? I think it would. I just want you to stop the hatred towards my culture, thats all. Now to answer you're question. Well i do not have a paster i have a priest. And he is the one who taught me no matter how rude, disrespectful, and hateful one is towards your culture. You should always keep the peace and accept them and their culture to stop future violence from spreading. If i would have asked him about witchcraft he would tell me it's part of the occult and it is still a sin in my culture. but if it's your life and what makes you happy i'm not going to be disrespectful.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
thank you . ;-) have a wonderfull day . ;-)
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
Now i can't promise you that you'll always get the same answer from all priests or even people in general about the occult. But in my country we live humble and respectful. it's the most important part of the way we live. Especially in america, you will get different answers. But i come from a place willing to accept any religion as long as there is no heresy directed towards us. He also told me when the enemy attacks, return love. I was willing to respect you and your culture all along as long as you did the same for mine. Christianity is a family, stay together, defend it with your life. I would happily die for this religion, not just saying it, i will willingly die for it if it's the case.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
thank you, you too. you don't know how glad i am to here that.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
bigotry has nothing to do with race. Racism is a different kind of hatred. That is why I called you a bigot not a racist.
by Randoley on November 16th, 2009
Although i don't understand what bigotry is. Any kind of hatred towards a group of people defined by their history, origin, ect. is considered racism. because that is race. but it really doesn't matter now, anonymouswitch and i both just wanted to be respected and we both got what we wanted i guess. I respected him, and he stopped writing heresy. tsall good. thats the teachings of God in action.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
i left because i got what i wanted - you saying; ""it's part of the occult and it is still a sin in my culture. "" ;that is what i am saying is part of the problem . and you both attacking me , using name calling etc.. proves what i have stated here .
and the fact that you say "witch's dont exist" proves you need to do research ,, not me ..and Randoley making it sound like we have these convos all the time etc and playing for the croud proves again what i have stated .
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
but El Topo showed some respect ,,, and i agree with Randoley that is has nothing to do with race . so those are 2 more good points. the entire thread supports what i am saying .. and any among the educated reading it will see that . so i am happy with it now . thats why i left . the truth at work. ;-)
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
hm. I can't change the occult being a sin. It is a sin because it is messing with the power of satan and it is considered a slap in the face to god. He offers love, and the occult turns the other way to satan. I do not care about the occult because the occult is powerless and very very small in numbers. So the occult i do not care about, i'll let them do what they do. also i said it was a "sin", not "we kill the occult", because we don't. Witches do exist, but in other types of religions, and they aren't called witches. Not sure what tehy're called, but they are located in east africa and are considered outcasts. Name calling does not prove we kill witches. also according to the definition you are racist. I'm sorry but thats not even my opinion, that's just the definition. look up race.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
that is the point i am trying to make witchcraft has nothing to do with the devil at all .and that lie haunts us . witchs ARE called witches by the way . they are all over the place and i am one . there is a huge movement all around you ,with wicca , witchs, and pagans here in north america .. i am not talking about other far away countries . i am not trying to be rude but you should research that a bit you will be suprised ... i dont fault you for not knowing as it is not in your interest , so i understand .
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
The Occult is a terrible thing. Even though I'm not worried about it, you should. God offers love and protection, the occult rejects him and tries to obtain "God-like qualities" through the power of satan and evil. If you are part of the occult i will pray for you. I don't agree with killing the occult, i do agree with helping them though. Islam and christianity is submission to God, the occult is submission to sin, temptation, and everything else unholy. I know you still think my religion is hateful, evil, murdurous, but it is actually the other way around. Unless you have actually learned or experienced Christianity, it wouldn't be wise to spread false rumors about something you don't know anything about. Most of the worlds population are Christian or Islam, which both have the same God. I have studied both and they are both religions of peace and promoting love to your enemy. Please, brush up on the word of God, then come back.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
and fyi..witchs wiccans and pagans are peace loving nature loving natural healers , and helpers .. they have nothing to do with evil . a witch does magic , a pagan honors nature deities ,, and a wiccan does both .. not all witchs are wiccan ,,, but all wiccans are witchs . i am a witch .. there are some in your town to gaurenteed .
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
please brush up on witchs .. then come back.

You associated yourself with the occult. Which in my religion is considered Satan, thats all you. You're right, i know nothing of whatever you are because i have never heard of it. I'm sure it is harmless and doesn't have anything to do with satan. with that said, you are still committing one of the biggest sins you can commit to Catholicism, and I am here to defend my beliefs and educate you. Look at me, I am anti-war, pro-love, love your enemy. This is what Christianity has taught me. you can't think of the past, you have to think of the present. Another example, say you were related to Hitler. Hitler was a monster who murdered millions upon millions. You i know wouldn't kill anybody. That is the church. The church has killed in the past, but that was the influence of the time. It is modern day now, we are not influenced by violence like them 5 hundred years ago. We are influenced only by the word of God to go and spread the word and love your enemies.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
get it? probably no?
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
exactly the reference we are defending against.. anyway, a witch usually is known for natural healing and herbal remedies . yes we do spells etc... but they are much like your prayers .
we only do good . it is against our rules to use spells against people or for bad at all .
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
our golden rule is bacicly what you put out in the world comes back to you x 3 . an ye harm none is also a rule . we respect nature and will never harm any animal or human for any reason . we are much like the native american beleifs of mother nature karma etc..
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
witchs and witchcraft are ancient & pre christian .. wicca is newer and was started in the 50's but is based on the old ways . we were made into the enemy by "some " christians and the church saying only god could heal etc .. and givin a bad rap since then . the devil is a christian deitie .. even lived in heaven ... we would not worship him. but to the church . not church = evil .. so this is where we stand

hmm. I see. This is very interesting. Well for the record this is not really the occult i'm pretty sure. What you practice looks very good and so far i see nothing wrong with it. Although i do not have a problem with your religious preferences, i do mind the blasphemy. you're beliefs sound very simple, christianity is a bit challenging to follow as well as understand because it contradicts, as well as most beliefs. Just please, all i ask you is not to create heresy towards beliefs as sacred as mine. thats all i ever wanted.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
sorry ,, you edited your last post while i was reading it .. you asked and said you wanted to know what wicca was and were interested in listening . hence my last 3 posts
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
and just so you know .. this ordained x catholic turned witch . that ran a store that sells ancient artifacts and world religion relics etc... knows more than you may think about the subject. ;-) i will let you go now . .. have a great night . thanx for showing some understanding , and listening .
by The Anonymous Witch on November 16th, 2009
your welcome. I found it quite interesting. Thank you very much.
by Anonymous on November 16th, 2009
El Topo you were right to begin with Wicca, witchcraft and Paganism is of Satan. It doesn't matter if witches believe in Satan or not that is what it is.
.
Quote, " Well for the record this is not really the occult I'm pretty sure. What you practice looks very good and so far i see nothing wrong with it." Any religion that denies God, and Jesus and puts their faith in something other than them is wrong. It most certainly is the occult.
by Randoley on November 17th, 2009
Randoley -im sorry you feel that way ,, and that is the very thing that i defend against . and is the very teaching that spreads hate against us , some can take it to extreams .
this is what i have been saying all along , kids are taught this , and it spreads . this is what i am trying to stop . or atleast spread awareness about.
by The Anonymous Witch on November 17th, 2009
we are not evil in anyway . you just dont agree with us so you deem us as such.
by The Anonymous Witch on November 17th, 2009

by The Anonymous Witch on November 17th, 2009
The occult is pertaining to satan and trying to obtain godlike powers. It seems what anonymous witch practices is using those powers for good. Unless your trying to become powerful its not occult, like he said, its just like prayinhg.
by Anonymous on November 17th, 2009
this pretty much sums it up for you http://www.wicca.com/celtic/wicca/wicca.htm
by The Anonymous Witch on November 17th, 2009
Who are they praying to? Where do they attribute their power coming from? If the answer is anything other than God, how can you all of a sudden be all for it? If something is not done in God's name can it possibly be good?
by Randoley on November 17th, 2009
realize that you are talking about a practice and one based on it, that is thousands of years older than christianity .
saying it's satanic is like saying cave men worship the internet . your god & devil did not exist yet . so how can it be for , or against it . ? ps their power comes from the natural energy around them , who or what do the "pray " to or honor .that depends ,generally a female and male representation of nature .
by The Anonymous Witch on November 17th, 2009
i said it was like praying, not praying praying itself. They are using their powers of speech to better life of man. Christianity is not the only religion that is "Good". I follow teachings of buddhism because it leads to peace and a better life for yourself and others. I am not all for this religion because i really don't know anything about it. IF he says it's a religion of good and peace it really doesn't matter. I don't know the exact origins of your religion anonymous but youre half way right, christianity isn't that old compared to your religion probably. But the worship of our God is very old, dating back to abraham, but like you said, just not christianity. Randoley, religions of peace should not fight, they should be accepted and united.
by Anonymous on November 17th, 2009
anonymous witch i looked at your site again and i have to say, it is ALL scriptures taken out of context. When they say they shall die, they mean they have doomed themselves. Like witches, it is the belief that witches are the devil in human form, (this means sin and temptation), not actually the devil. And shall be killed. Not literally, but sent away and it means the person shall restrain themselves from the sin of the devil. Not actually killed, it was the style of writing in that time. not just that, but everything is taken out of context. I still don't care about your religion, i think it's fine, but the witches in the bible represent sin, if your using your little spells for good than you aren't a "witch". It's a label you are mistaking yourself of being. Like the occult, pertaining to sorcery and Satan. Randoley is completely right, that site is spreading false beliefs. do not believe it. taking things out of context is the reason some muslims kill. see now?
by Anonymous on November 17th, 2009
Do not believe a word. Taking scriptures out of context is a dangerous thing to do. It ends up with the death of hundreds of thousands. i'm unsubscribing because I want to spend the rest of my day not arguing. I'll still respect your religion, but in no way is it associated with mine, and in no way does the scriptures mean what you think they mean.
by Anonymous on November 17th, 2009
don't EVER say i am not a witch !!! you were doing so well till then .. you say you dont know anything about us . so dont ever ..ever ever say what i am or am not . !
good bye ufc
by The Anonymous Witch on November 17th, 2009
You have called me and and El Topo (did he change his nic?) brainwasher's of children, liars, murderers, witch burners etc. You don't seem to like it when people call you something that you aren't.
.
God and Satan existed long before any religion was ever formed, so saying witchcraft is older than Christianity makes no sense. God said "if you are not for me you are against me." He also called people who are against Him His enemies. So why then would I want to unite with a group of people who are enemies against my God? Also, God said it is impossible for any man to do good unless He was involved. If your not for God you are against Him.
.
This is what I think about Witchcraft, the occult, fortune telling etc. and why God said to stay away from it. Do I believe lighting a candle and surrounding yourself with white light will protect you from harm? No, it's just wax and a tinny flame. Do I believe incantations and positive energy can heal diseases? No. Do I believe people can look at cards and see the future? Of course not, but I do believe Satan has the power to do those things. If a fortune teller gives a prediction I think Satan makes sure that prediction happens. If a witch casts a spell to help a sick person I think Satan makes that person well. As long as Satan can trick people into putting their faith in anything other than God he will do it. He isn't called the Great Deceiver for nothing.
by Randoley on November 17th, 2009
sorry . i, and the history books dissagree .. you are welcome to think what you want . but yours was not the first religion by far .. i am not trying to convince you of that, or change your ways at all .. like i said i am showing you awareness that there is more to what you are being told .. you are welcome to take it or leave it . ps .. what happened to el t? i think he changed his id .. any way nice chattin.
