I'd wager most Muslims, if they bought a newspaper or something recently, would believe it was indeed 2009. How would they otherwise address/date their business correspondence, especially accounts receivable? ;-)

islamic calaender depends on the moon when the moon first born..it's the first day in the month...till it reach the full-moon and ruturn to get smaller .. it's the end of the month islamic month is 29-30 days 1 year = 12 month i'm 1 year greater in the islamic calender. :) it's 1430 now.
