Oh dear. Another version of 'christianity is evil because the 'good book' seems to promote the killing of' [insert preferred minority group here]. It really is rather tiresome. The Bible, whether old or new testament is not the word of god, but of an ancient priestly caste seeking to maintain or extend their control over their society. So it isn't 'God is happy to kill gays/children/good samaritans/non-believers' at all. Rather it's 'the Priesthood is happy..... etc' I've never heard the voice of god in the Bible, or the Koran, or any other religous text I've ever read, but I've never failed to hear the voice of the politician, the schemer, the manipulator who sits in a high position within their society. That rings out loud and clear. I know it will fall on deaf ears, but can we stop this nonsense now please?

I can only say what I've said before.. Belief in God (and a literal belief in the bible) opens a portal to the supernatural and the unnatural. Dysrationalia.. a thinking disorder that can affect mature, intelligent people- in other words, in particular, the religious fundamentalists and fanatics.
