Can my son get disability he has pervasive developmental disorders (pdd)

My son is globally delayed and gets SSI but it was based of his medical issues and my income. Once he's 18 its based of his income and medical issues then and turns into actual SSI and not an SSI welfare type that it is now. My son is also in the DDD program (Department of Developmental Disabilities) this program provides him with in home therapy, medical, home care and the opportunity to get my therapist and pediatrician to get him medical equipment based on his needs.
