Do you take into consideration the persons rank on AB for the answers they give when deciding if the answer has merit?

I give points to interesting answers that deserve rating. They do not even have to be correct, someone who put some thought into it, deserves praise.

No, but I'm certainly more likely to read the answers from someone whom I recognize, who has provided good answers in the past. I have limited time, and I'm not always willing to read the entire list and make a balanced and unbiased assessment of each answer.
