My mother was absolutely amazing. I feel very lucky to have received so much love, compassion, empathy, encouragement, and guidance. Everything that makes me who I am I owe to my mother and I will never forget that. My father. Well, he cheated on my mom.

In a sense, yes. Whatever they did to make a mess of their own lives, I learned from, and avoided doing the same things.

In some ways they were. But they married really young and hadn't quite grown up yet.

Well besides the rocky marriage they had for 17 years they taught me alot of good moral and values, what i need in a spouse. In the school area though that was a fail. My mom wanted me to be honor roll, scholarship, etc and i just wanted to pass. My dad dropped out.

As far as parents are supposed to be, my parents were indeed role models (but they fought a lot, that is the only thing I don't like). They are hardworking, honest, respectful, kind, helpful, giving, supportive (mostly), with a good moral values, etc. etc. So yes, they are good role models.
