It depends on the "Battery". The older the battery the more often you will have to start it to keep the battery charged. When you have to start the vehicle every 4 days, because the 5th day you'll have to jump it, then it's time for a new battery.
just use it every now n then ... at the least like 3 times a week
Starting a car runs down the battery it doesn't charge it. In order to charge a battery you should drive the car or run the engine at a high idle for at least 10 minutes or more.
When the battery runs out, you better go catch it... (ha ha ha)
