I wouldn't be that extreme. Besides, just put another economic genius like George W. Bush in charge in Washington and their whines will immediately switch to smiles, even if the economy drops off another cliff like it did under his management.

That's why I immediately sold Berkshire Hathaway and Microsoft short. Such incredible lunacy of these two will cost them their entire fortunes. On the day Obama decides to nationalize railroads, nuclear plants, and software, the price of both BRKS and MSFT will be exactly zero. And I will laugh all the way to the bank (on Caiman Islands)

When the two richest men in this country tell us to stop worrying about the economy, you know you are getting screwed. Has anyone noticed that the wealthy have gotten a bigger slice of the pie during this recession?

You're reading Buffet and Gates say the worst is behind us as far as the economy goes. Should the whiners and doomsayers who were ready to dig a hole somewhere and cower be arrested for defeatism? I think so. We need positive people in this country. Not cry babies.

Yeah. I wouldn't really be that extreme either but those types are a burden on a recovery. And could have (hopefully not still) contributed to another Great Depression simply because of their extremely negative attitudes.

Ever since Boss Limbaugh put out the idea, they have been doing everything in their power to make sure the President fails. If that means America has to sink in mid ocean, they seem to consider that minor collateral damage and acceptable.
