Why do so many people use avatars insted of their own pics?
The questions, answers and comments here do not seem to be anything anyone would be ashamed of. Why are we afraid to be recognized?

Why bother? What are the odds that I will ever meet any of you? Not only do I live in Italy, but even if we did meet, it is highly unlikely you would recognize me from an AB picture. For me, fear is not a factor, as I answer questions here to exact same way I would as if we were talking face to face. +2

I am not here to advertise my goofy mug. I am here to give answers, ask questions yadi yadi. There are other places such as your profile where you can put a pic if you choose for those who wish to know who is behind their words. I know the last thing I want to do is have to sit and look at a picture of myself everytime I sign in to ab. I think our minds far outweigh our flesh in value. Well... there are exceptions to every rule haha =P

for the same reason that a lot of people don't use their actual real name. I have been very open & honest on here & said things that I have even said to my friends, family or work colleagues so for that reason I prefer to remain annonymous. I am not ashamed of anything I have written
