Does safeway brand soda taste the same as commercial brand sodas?

i dont think so. store brands taste different than name brands. but thats me other people, like my dad, sees no difference in taste and will buy whatever is cheaper

Pretty much. They never taste quite as good, but they do have the same basic taste usually. But they are usually significantly cheaper than the commercial brand.

it tastes just like any other generic soda to me. although i do love their extra flavors that safeway has. such as blackcherry, fruit punch, strawberry, and they used to have pineapple which is my FAV but i cant find it anymore :(
