I think about it all the time and am thinking about it right now.

Oh yes I am at that stage in my life now. I am looking at places in Turkey so that i can get away. and I only need to spend a little time in each place.
-
I have done exactly that. It was the hardest decision I've ever made but I don't regret it as needed to get away :-) Life is so much better now but it took time, unknown area, no home, no friends, no job - it wasn't easy starting again from scratch but I learned a lot about me. A few years on and I think I'm doing good :-)
-
I did it twice. Its a heartache to have to do that but its sometimes a bigger one to stay.

Even you leave everything behind and go away in any place you will not able to find peace ,so try to workout things at this level and live your life and stand up and walk tall in this world.

Escapism, the desire to run away from it all, in a natural instinct inherent in every human being. The escapist in us surfaces often enough but we do reason with ourselves and suppress the desire to run away. I have felt like doing what you suggest several times in my life but have always stayed put till the desire vanished on its own as logical reasoning took over.
-
Yes I have thought about it when things are not going well. Then my positive and rational side takes over and tells me that I cannot run away from myself. Where ever I go, there I am. So I stay put and work through whatever the situation is.

I ONLY have felt that way about an "ex"; but my son went with me. My son is what made my life worth living, for striving to succeed, and making a whole new life for myself and HIM! I, pretty much, left it all "behind"; didn't want any memories of the past! Started anew and NEVER looked back!
-
Been there, done that. No packing, just started walking. No one knew where i was for a year. Long time ago.

Hell yeah Dani!!!...Just get your bag...or pillow case...stuff some clothes in it...wack your skateboard...or (stillettoes)...under one arm...and your music...(very impotant)...and head out the door and NEVER look back!...You go girl...I want to hear about your adventures!
-
Yes. Done it several times and will probably do it again. +1
-
I never could figure out how to do it financially as my livelyhood depends on local word-of-mouth referrals. Maybe I'm just not thinking outside the box.
