I'm an over weight 17 year old, male, I do not look my weight but i still look heavy, do over weight males stand a chance with above average looking girls?

Ohhh kaaay, you don't want anyone to judge you totally by your appearance but you only want "above average looking girls?" Something wrong with THAT picture.

Girls your age?. I doubt it. If you were 25 I would say, depends on your personality, humor.

Just let your personality shine through and I'm sure you'll be a ladies man. :) A lot of the time, after a person gets to know another person quite well, certain traits, such as looking heavy, can become endearing. You sound like you could rock that whole Teddy Bear thing very well.

I had a friend growing up who was a rather large dude, and he could have got any girl in high school, I'm sure of it. He never wanted to, though! He was always either too shy, or just flat out not interested.

I agree with Level Headed - this is less likely to be an issue the older you are. A person's character, values, personality, etc... generally become more important than looks. I think physical attraction is a necessary part of any relationship, but attraction is subjective. Everyone has their own idea of what is attractive. Your health is important, but that aside, your confidence in yourself, the way you treat others, values, beliefs, sense of humour, etc... are very important factors in attraction. There are some that care only about looks and base what is attractive by what society and media dictates, but there is not much appeal in being with someone who cannot think for themselves. Be happy with yourself and true to your values and beliefs, and you should have no problem attracting a girl you consider "above average" in looks.

I myself am not an above average looking girl, but I do prefer guys with some meat(: a little tummy chub it cute (: however being really over weight is not ok, it doesn't look good and it shows they don't take care of themself, plus it's not healthy. I don't think you should aim for above average looking girls, I think you should aim for a women that makes you happy no matter what she looks like.
