Great, now you're solving world problems in America instead of England. How long before you slip into McDonalds' and take out half the population with an AK-47 before turning it on yourself? Get some help lady. Fast. Even if it's pharmaceutical.

Now Catherine...you don't live on this border like I do. However I would like very much to see Texas secede from the Union for a number of reasons. Mexico is a good country and has many very good people in it and many are my friends. If there was not such a demand of drugs in the USA there would not be the problems with drugs. There have been way over a million pounds of drugs ceased this year on our local borders. I would like very much to see the demand by young people in particular stopped. The minute men cannot cross into Mexico and go shooting up the place. They would also have to fight the Mexican army as well. Mexico has captured a number of the main leutinets but they will never stop the main people because they are the government. Unless you live on this border you will not understand what is going on. It is not good, but until you know the Mexican people as I do it is very hard to understand. Tell you what Catherine, come here and stay with me for a few months. Be sure to bring your passport so I can take you to Mexico and get you back into the states.

Don't let the door hit you on the Arse on the way out of the Union. Texas would soon discover that the Treaty between the U.S. and Mexico wouldn't apply to the Free State of Texas. And considering that Texas grabbed texan land under false pretences from Mexico, they'll discover that Mexico may decide to take the land back. At which point, The Texan Government might have to start... conscripting for the military and taxing to pay for the military's bills. And then Many Texans are going to discover that the previously inexpensive crap jobs that they employed Mexicans doing, still will need doing. But who in the Texas "high and mighty" crowd are going to sully their hands doing them, at sub-minimum wages?

"...shoot those drug lords down, and everyone else to[sic]." What a heroic way to solve immigration problems - thorough genocide. After that's done, and the immigration problem is no longer existent...who's going to save your community from rabid sociopaths like you?

That'd be a bad move on Texas's part, I doubt the U.S government would stand for someone seceding fro the union.....AGAIN. Especially if this someone...or someplace rather, were alone. While I do agree that certain illegals may hurt our economy there are also certain illegals that help, I say 'certain illegals' because I know not of any such individuals. I do agree that someone here illegally should not recieve help from the U.S as a citizen would, and yes a proven druglord should be gunned down on the spot. so....secession no, stricter treatment of illegals, especially the harmful kind, yes.

I sincerely hope you are not a Texan and think you are speaking for the rest of us. I do want to straighten you out on some facts. 1. Texas is not seriously wanting to leave the union. That was the Republican Governor Rick Perry's idea to do so. It was not a popular idea here. 2. We are not sick of Mexicans coming over to work, because if we were there wouldn't be enough people to do the menial work they do for meager wages and would arrest business owners for hiring them. 3. I don't think if would be a fair war if we asked the minute men to fight the Drug Lords. Are you kidding me? Those Drug Lords can't even be taken down by the Mexican Army? and they have heavy military weapons! They would behead everyone of the Minute Men in a New York Minute to truly earn their title. 4. Mexicans using our resources? If you could see the homes they lived in over here you would weep. You would think they lived in a developing country. Maybe your question will bring some attention to Texas, but I think we do pretty well in getting along with our neighboring country. After all, most of their relatives were born here and they are the majority in Texas.

You can't just gun down an entire group of people because some of them are criminals. There are probably Texans that are criminals, should we bomb the entire state of Texas? Absolutely not. Politically, I'm both a Republican and a Democrat. The Democratic side of me says that we really need to reform or immigration system, especially with Mexico. Right now, it sucks. I have a friend that came here from Mexico, legally. It took him like 6 years and he said he was lucky. I think if you had a better system to bring people here legally, it would at least give you a little more leverage against illegal immigrants. The Republican side of me doesn't want my tax dollars to support an illegal immigrant that comes in to the US, has like 30 children, and expects to pay to raise them. Stricter enforcement of immigration would be nice but a better process to bring people here legally would be nicer. These people do a lot of jobs that lets face it a lot of Americans aren't interested in. I say we embrace it, but at the same time give them opportunities to better their situation.

What would Texas unemployment rate be with no Mitilary bases, no Border Patrol, and no other Federal Jobs.

Hasnt been is providing a substantial and moral argument between this. Texas is not going to leave the Union, that is just stupid. Mexicans provide labor that no regular man would do for lower wages, therefore making the produce and other items on the market cheaper and more cost efficient. I think HasntBeen is right for saying that this your argument is an act of bigotry and generalism. Mecicans crossing the border will suffer enough now that Healthcare will be denied to them because of their lack of Health Insurance, so they will leave naturally as they die off in their little scheme of natural selection. Please dont discuss politics in the United Sates if you dont live there either. It shows your arrogant, second-handed experiance of what actually happens in this country. Catherine, fuck off. Cheers, Hasnt Been

You're seriously deluded.. I live in Irving and am NOT in the mood to live as a refugee in a war zone, but keep pushing your idiotic agenda.. You'll be one of the first they round up for execution if it ever happens..and thank goodness for that. In fact I'll tell all my Mexican friends to look for you first.. I'm sure they can find you through your ip address.. First rape, then a bullet to the leg then finally one to the head.. Enjoy.

I would encourage Texas to leave, and take Shrub with them!
