Suddenly my two female spayed rabbits who were completely fine with each other for a year started fighting. What caused this and what can I do to make it stop?

Have you changed anything, new pets, new people, new furniture or setting? Often new things will upset them and cause disturbance in their territorial feelings, even if they are spayed. If you've changed something, try going back to the way it was. If not, then try putting them both in a carrier and taking them for a car ride. Often, they will feel just enough stress from the car ride that they will turn to each other for security and bond quickly. You could try keeping a spray water bottle around filled with cool water and just before yo see aggression, give that rabbit a squirt. Often if you look at their body language, their ears are a big signal, you can catch them right before.
