  • Yes, many times. I sometimes cry when I laugh, too. It's considered very healthy to cry as it releases certain chemicals that are different from just watery eyes. It affects a part of the brain a particular way. Women cry more from anger and sadness but men cry more often for happy things is what they say. Both my husband and I are 'free criers'. We cry when we feel like it, with no stigmas attached. I find it strange when people don't cry more, aren't moved more in one way or another. What's wrong with showing how deeply you were affected by something. I love seeing people very happy, with happy endings in movies or real life.
