    I often do. I donate to the Salvation Army. Soup kitchens in the area. The occasional donation to pan handlers. Feed the children. Also a couple of animal rights organizations. There is help out there. People just need to know where to look.

    We take bags of canned food around, usually early in the morning, so they will find it quick before they leave the house...just sit the bag(stappled or taped closed) inside a cardboard box down and leave. If they catch you, and want to know where it came from, just say "a friedn asked you to drop it off".
