What is a pro and a con with having only one child?

    Oh God knew what he was doing when he gave me only one daughter, now 23.
    She got to be the only child with me and the big sister to 3 brothers with her dad in his 2nd marriage. So she had the best of both worlds.

    From the parent's perspective:
    Pro's.. just one child to focus on, less chaos, no fighting, less expensive than raising more

    Cons.. ?

    From the kids perspective:

    Pro's... more parental attention, no competition, a bit of spoiling (not spoiled rotten)

    Cons... don't have siblings to play with & to share their life with
