  • Go to the courthouse and see if there is a survey that supports your claim. If there is then they will have to move. It's a civil matter and will be handled in a civil court. If there is no survey you will have to have one done. I hope that it works out with no complications. The laws in your area may be different but that is how it works here in New Iberia, Louisiana.
  • First I'd ask him nicely. If you have deeds then show him the deeds. If he insists he is not moving then you need to see a property solicitor/lawyer. You would be amazed at how many of these arguments occur.
  • Jurisdiction matters can be resolved by obtaining your property ownership map. It outlines where your property begins and ends. Get that map and you can show them the line and they can move their trailer. Do it nicely please. If you need an attorney, I can hook ya up. =)
