Explain this statement, ''All acids contain hydrogen, but not all compounds containing hydrogen are acids.''

    all acids must have an hydrogen to librate H+ but there are compounds having H in which it is not feasible to librate H+....those compounds are not acid...like KOH is having H group but it is a base.
