I want to connect my pc screen to my PS3 but it only has a D-sub connector. I tried using a D-sub to VGI but it didn't work. Any advice?

You're reading I asked the question why my ps3 controller wouldnt connect and no one seemed to know what it is. its called a dreamgear type 6, and it uses AAA batteries. when i turn it on four blue lights flash continuously.
