I guess I would have to say somewhere in the three grand range as that is what our current tv cost. We have a 65" Mitsubishi rear projection, 1080p Diamond series. Plus the hubby spent another grand on calibration equipment for the darned thing.

well i actually have a movie theater in my house .. compleate with projector 7 foot screen , surround sound system with theater logic speakers , a popcorn machine and actual movie theater seats .. everything cost me about $1500 . i bought piece by piece on ebay . i lucked out on the delivery on the seats ,, they were shippers going this way anyway .
i dont think you can beat that ;-)

I would be happy with just the regular ole 27" Sony, but he is very particular on his entertainment. He grew up pore so he is making up for all his "toys" he never had, I couldn't even add up how much he has invested in Blu-rays, PS3 and Xbox360 games:)
