If you didn't want to/couldn't look after a baby, but knew its biological father would not allow you to give it up for adoption, would you have an abortion?

I can't answer that question because I am male, but I don't understand how the father can stop you from having the baby adopted.

I wouldnt be able to do that personally. In fact I would watch a video on abortions and see if that would influence my decision. In this culture we live in I can see alot of wemon/girls become so jaded by how abortions are discussed so cavelier. Soon you'll be able to go to Mcdonalds and order a cheeseburger, fries with an abortion on the side!! I couldnt do it, I see it as murder.

Not allow me? Sounds awfully controlling to me. I think I would have to look at everythign involved, was the father a person I felt capable of raising, loving and looking after this child if I had it? Was I old enough, in a position to and financially able to carry the child for nine months and give birth?

Sure, I'd have an abortion no matter how the father reacted to the baby. Unborn babies are icky parasites.

No I would still opt for adoption. If the father wants to stop that and look after the baby himself then tghat would be better but if not I would go for adoption / fostering. Can he stop you if he is not prepared to look after the child himself?
