When you ask your questions, are you anticipating or hoping for certain responses or do you just want people to tell you truthfully how they really feel?

Usually I'm looking for others honest thoughts, not blunt rudeness, but well expressed feelings or knowledge, maybe some humor if it's appropriate. Most of all I'm waiting to get pleasantly surprised and enlightened.

I just love to hear different opinions, but can't get anyone to answer my effing questions half the time. But they really love to comment on stupid BS like "I took a hit off a bong last night. If I have a drug test tomorrow, will I pass?" or "I'm 14 and I want to date a 29 year old. What do you think?" Grrr....

If it's a serious question, or on a serious topic, I hope to receive at least a few serious responses. Some subjects however are so "dire", that humour and irony are sometimes necessary to help us deal with them. So, any take that makes a HELPFUL contribution is welcome. As far as my silly questions are concerned, serious answers do surprise me ... ;) Good question! +2
