1996 Saab 900s just shut off after crossing railroad tracks. Engine turns over and fires once but will not stay running. Can anybody help?

Could be an emergency fuel shut-off switch which many cars have that shuts off the fuel flow in an accident. A good jolt could trigger it. Look in your owner's manual to locate it.
