i use many herbs for smudging (burning as incense), white sage is the most popular ..for clearing , cleansing the air , repell negativity ,, rituals etc.. but to be burned in a censor , or small bowl .. i would not recomend smoking it directly .
the only herb i would reccomend to smoke is mullein ..
it is a great healing herb .. and for cigarette smokers it is the best .. it actually heals your lungs .. many people trying to quit smoking use it instead of a cig .. .. their lungs clear up ,, they feel better . taste comes back . ... and smoking it is actually good for you... i know that sounds weird ,,, and hard to wrap your head around ... but it is a lung cleanser ... and the best way to the lungs is the same way the junk got in .. it has no ill effects ,,,no tar ,,, nic ,,, etc .. research mullein yourself , it's a great replacement cigrettes..
i did and it is helping with some pretty nasty withdrawel symptoms. I am perscribed OC's, Oxy's, or just oxycontins. 40mgSR. Now i'm out. so far the white sage hase REALLY help with the anxiety, and some of the tremendous pain. THis really sucks. but less then two minute ago i inhaled as directed, and my pet monkey is asleep. Atleast for now. anyone have any other legal herb expirience. i justgot A WHOLE lot of herbs(diferrent kinds) and i am looking for a smoking recipe. some similar to SPICE, Spike, or Zohai. I have all the ingredients except for the Lotus.
someone please help
thanks guys
Upon lighting a small leaf of white sage and inhaling the smoke through the mouth and nose, holding it for about 10-30 seconds, I noticed an immediate relaxed state. It was almost the same feeling as a 30 minute to an hour deep meditation session gives. This state lasted only about 15 minutes, but the relaxation of my whole body on a physical level lasted all day. It is great for the beginning of a meditation session, healing work or just self clearing. And, I did not roll it with any paper. I lit the dried leaf itself and inhaled the smoke from very close to the leaf through the air.
Genereally what's smoked is Saliva Divinorum, (the Diviner's Sage, ect...) for it's psychoactive properties. White sage is, as mentioned before, used most commonly as a smudge stick. However I find the smoke to have a relaxing and calming effect, not necessarily a high or anything, but it's definitely something. At least for me.
I haven't personally known of anyone to smoke this, but I've heard of Sage of the Seers (salvia divinorum) usage and may very well try it in the future. From what I've read, salvia apiana is most often used as a smudge stick.
