  • Timing belts on a four-cylinder engine will generally last at least 60,000 miles. Some manufacturers recommended a 60,000-mile service interval; others recommend a 90,000-mile interval. As with any belt, it is possibly for it to last longer, as it is possible for it to break sooner.
