Browsing the Internet can lead to some strange and sometimes obnoxious places. As more websites pop up, not every one of them is constructed correctly, resulting in error messages.
"Error On Page"
The "error on page" or "Done with error on page" message does not indicate a problem with a local computer. It occurs when an element on a Web page is not constructed correctly by the page designer.
Fixing the Page
When you encounter the error message, you can reload the page by clicking on the refresh icon on your browser's toolbar. It might clear the error if the page's data were transmitted incorrectly. There is no way to fix the page unless you are the author of the page.
Causes
The browser software loads the text, pictures, animations and links into the random access memory (RAM) of your computer. When it encounters something that has not been constructed correctly, usually in the Java programming language, it generates the error message.
Viewing the Page
It is safe to continue viewing the page. Some items will be missing.
Fixes
When you browse to another page, the error message will disappear, returning only if you encounter another page with similar errors.
