Do you think the original TV series 'V' was better than the new series that premiered November 3rd, 2009?

I actually didn't even know there was a new V series until I read about it after the fact last night online. What channel is it on?

From the pilot I like the original better, I was hoping V would have a sequel and not a re-imaging, hopefully and eventually The Second Generation will be put on film.

I won't watch a re-imagining of anything on principle. I'm holding out for something new.

no, my friends at work were raving about how great of a series v was, and how they couldnt wait for the new one. the old version was on syfy the other day. my one friend text me to tell me. i saw about 10 mins of it until the girl told the alien she loved him, it was at this point i was reminded why sci fi is the worst genre of entertainment known to man.

I watched the original as it aired live back in the early 80's and LOVED it as a kid ... have the entire collection on DVD ... still love watching it ... but the new one is for a new generation ... new mentalities ... new global awareness ... and if it was called V: Sleeper Cell, i think it would be such a much better fit
