  • Why not? Keeping him safe is your job.
  • I'm a teenage girl and I know that my parents don't go through my things. Can't we have any privacy? Just learn to trust your child. Kenn4eva I respect you for saying that.
  • We never went thru every thing in our childrens 3 bedrooms BUT ... we did look for obvious signs that something wrong, deceiptful, or out of line, may be happening. For example ... checking every pocket when doing the laundry (it's surprising how many times kids forget to clean out their pockets before throwing their clothes into the hamper). Also, the smells (on clothes, in bedrooms, inside their cars, etc.) ... if you are a non-smoker or non-drinker, no amount of little "Christmas trees" hanging from the rear view mirror, Glade or Lysol is gonna cover up the smell! My wife and I were VERY fortunate, tho', in that all 3 of our kids were very good and decent kids, while growing up.
