When you feel your body is building static electricity, do you A) touch metal and prepare for the shock or B) try not to touch anything that is metal and hope it goes away or C) rub your feet on the carpet and try to touch someone you don't like?

i usually just get ready for the shock, but a lot of times my brother and i will slowly put our index fingers together to see if we can see the electricity. we've actually accomplished it a few times. lolol.

Touch metal and prepare for the shock. Unfortunately I don't always notice when it builds up and then one of the cats get the shock.

I constantly have static build up. Before I touch anything metal I knock it once w/ my knuckles. It doesn't hurt as bad as it does if you touch it w/ your fingertips.
