I do. Ex-nun. She said that she began to realize that the reason she loves God, the church, and the rules because she was afraid and wasn't thinking logically. That once she conquered her fear the belief that god existed didn't seem plausible and she quit.

Yes. Several. Particularly in the case of nuns, the structure of their life changed in the 1960s and 1970s. Funding decreased dramatically and nuns had to live "on the economy" and generate more of their own keep. Vocations became fewer, and the average age of nuns already in the convent moved steadily higher. Increasingly there were too few nuns to staff Catholic schools and hospitals and care for the greater numbers of aged nuns. There are other reasons too, but a great many nuns left their order because of this economic necessity.
