There are no US bank notes being printed, only Federal Reserve notes. And it costs our future prosperity since every FRD represents debt rather than money with value. In a system where the dollar is borrowed from the people who not only charge interest but create the money themselves, there can be no paying off the debt. EVER. Because to get a dollar to pay anyone, it must be borrowed first, thereby creating more debt.
Knowing that fact has made me have no interest whatever in understanding other forms of currency, I suspect they are all connected in similar fashion.
Can the states coin money as long as it is backed by gold?
