There is a small hard lump on the back of my left hand, it doesn't move and you cant see it or tell its there unless you touch it. The only time it hurts is where theres pressure on it or once in awhile. continued in answer

DOWN HERE: it only hurst when i push on it, or once in awhile i'll tap it and a shock will go through whole arm. i noticed this about four weeks ago and its the same arm i got my IV on at the hospital

It is probably a cist, my wife has had 2 of them removed.

I imagine it could be any number of things, but my friend had the same thing you described on her had and it turned out to be a calcium deposit. Harmless - sorry, can't remember how or if it was treated.

i had one of those after i had an IV. its an air bubble in your vein from the IV. at least that's what my nurse said. it went away about a month later. but i would ask your doctor or nurse to be sure.
