Question

Help answer this question below.

When one of two fraternal twins, obviously each in their own sac, is found to no longer have a heartbeat, what is the best procedure to ensure a healthy birth of the surving twin? I've heard both, a D&C and leaving the deceased twin, to be dangerous.

This happened to my wife, the deceased twin was poisoning the other so early labor was induced. Neither twin survived.
