You're reading What is special about "special education"?
Comments
There needs to be a definition of this word because just the word "special" doesn't explain who the people are. There are many classes of "special" people with different ways of learning. I don't want to answer my own question here. I understand who the people are, but I am looking for information stating the type of education required for these students. Now, I think such a book is in my textbook on school law, but who knows where that book is right now.

I get the impression that you are a Law Major with a minor in Fine Art. Am I right?

No, not quite. I have 2 music degrees and a certification to teach all grades K-8th grade all subjects. I did take school law and am aware of all the laws concerning schools and the curriculum. I have done much work as an advocate of teachers in teacher organizations, thus requiring me to know the law.

Music - Thought so.
On another subject: check out www.worldvisiongifts.org 2 oxen and a plow for $500. A whole barnyard, 28 animals, for $2000. Thats 2 cows, 2 sheep, 2 pigs, 2 goats, and 20 chickens. Don't know how reliable this place is, but just received their Christmas gift catalog in the mail. They claim 87% for the programs and services, 8% fund raising, and 5% general admin expenses. I remember you mentioning a water Buffalo.
