I rate it about a 4. It seems they are always losing mail, taking 2-3 times longer than it should. They are always "talking" people into paying $6.00 for priority mail so people will get it on time and well, the last letter I sent priority mail they never even recieved (this was 6 months ago). Smart people around here usually use a different carrier (and pay a lot extra) for really important packages/letters to be sent. This is one reason they are going broke.

1 - they don't even deliver my mail to me, the postman leave all mail to the barber (who likes to gossip alot) and I have to take it from there, not to mention so many mails are lost in country postal services so unless you send it as "recommended" you have almost no chance for the mail to be delivered to the address..

For me personally Icy they've only screwed up a few times in all my years being here (72). I think that is a remarkable record considering the zillions of pieces of mail that are processed. Happy Tuesday! :)

The service is being manipulated by those who would like to give it to Capital interests as is being done in both New Zealand and Australia where public service is less of a priority and Capital interests are.
Too bad the tax payer never wins .
Bad press helps create Big changes which are not always for the best.

9 which is the highest I could give them without their being perfect, and none of us are that. There are a lot of hard-working people in the postal service doing their best everyday to move the mail on time and get it delivered to the correct address. If you knew how many pieces of mail they actually get right compared to the mix ups, you'd think they were pretty great too. Any complaint anyone has ever had about them can also be attributed to the other carriers and they still (for the time being) deliver 6 days a week. Something the other carriers do not do. Sure there are going to be exceptions as with any other industry and there are the less than desirable employees. Some things can't be controlled but for some of the things they have to put up with from the general public, they do a damned good job!!!
