Sure. ADM3-A and DEC VT52. But I go back further - I worked with the ASR-33 teletype, printing on paper and storing the program on 8-hole paper tape.
My first computer ran CPM (before the days of DOS) and had a 12 inch single-sided floppy. That was state of the art. My first programming was on IBM punch cards, so I though the floppy was a stunning leap forward. :)
Sure, I still have one and use it for the controllers of my solar/wind/small hydro installation on our farm. It's all that's required to run those simple programs. +5
I used one in high school on the newspaper. The computer's name was Mr. Bill.
aaahhhh ... the Radio Shack TRS-80 ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRS-80
I never used one. But had seen them. I have an uncle who still has one. He uses it to pick lotto numbers with the ramdon function.
I did't work with one, but I remember them.

You're reading Are you old enough to have worked with a one-piece computer workstation which had the keyboard part jutting out of the front of the CRT screen that showed 24 lines of 80 columns of green characters on a black background? Then, rock on!
