Help answer this question below.
Patty, you may be. I have a question for you, please don't take this as sarcasm, I'm just very curious. I've seen several questions lately from young girls who asked similar questions to yours. Are your parents teaching this or are you learning about this in school. Are you and your peers being taught that any unprotected sex is a risk. It only takes one drop of semen. It seems that this one little fact is getting missed somewhere and I'm curious as to if you you young ladies and young men are being taught that he doesn't have "to finish" and that protection is always needed.
I suggest you buy a pregnancy test at a drug store. I also have to tell you the "pulling out" method doesn't always work. Be more careful and use a condom.
For the love of God, what happened to sex education in public schools?
Oh wait...
(answer: get a pregnancy test)

well, my mother has always talked to me about this stuff and ofcourse also in school, just that sometimes i can be hard headed and not listen until something actually really happens.. i know im not the only who acts that way (but i am speakin for myself right now), but uhm theres noone to blame for this but myself, i shouldve known better and thought smarter. but thank you for you answer =)

Hi patty, thanks for aswering. I wasn't trying to place blame, but it is right for you to own up to the responsibility. We have to do what's right for ourselves. We can't always expect others to do the right thing for us. So, to protect yourself, be sure that he's using protection or use your own protection. My concern in my answer was based around a couple of girls stating that the guys got them pregnant on purpose and didn't remove himself in time. The truth to the matter is that you can still get pregnant even if he does remove himself "in time". That one drop is all it takes.

I wish you luck, My Dear. Hang in there and reach out on AB, and to others in your life, when you have concerns with the pregnancy or other issues.
