It's a bit old, but does anyone on the bag find Jeff Dunham's Achmed the dead terrorist offensive?

I think Achmed is one of his funnier puppets. Maybe some terrorists are offended, but who cares?

I am afraid not. I think it is hilarious. If I was a terrorist I would be offended, I think. Thankyou for posting that. My first solid laugh today. :) -------from the comment thread I was thinking about this and, if he had, say, Zoltan the Fortune Teller as a puppet, I am sure he would still crack me up. . The thing is, as you said, he has Achmed the dead Terrorist, not Achmed the dead Muslim Terrorist. If he had Zoltan the Gypsy Fortune Teller, I would still find it hilarious I am sure. He is just so damned good. . He takes the mick out of everyone, just like you said. He has puppets that take the mick out of all ethnicites and more. As far as the hypothetical Zoltan the Fortune Teller, you just have to laugh at yourself sometimes and put PC on the shelf. If I was Muslim, I would laugh at Achmed. . Another thing is, to me, his comedy is not cruel.
