Tom Sawyer
When I was in the 5th grade, I used to have a crush on an "older girl" that lived down the street. Heck, she had to have been in high school already. Anyway, we somehow became friends and I used to sit on her porch with her and make pot holders.
So, one day she runs out of material and has to go to the store to get more. I promised I would pitch in. With my mom's permission, I accompanied the girl to the store.
Well after I got to the store, I decided I wanted to spend my money on something else. That "something else" was the book "Tom Sawyer".
