I have always apologized when I know I've hurt someone. Sometimes it was inadvertent and unintentional. People carry all kinds of baggage and sometimes something said in innocence pushes a sore spot and all he** breaks loose. Since I'm not a mindreader I can't know about what I don't know about until after the fact. Even so, I apologize. :)

No, if I've hurt someone I know and later regretted it I've always apologised, and if I hurt a stranger then they deserved it so no sorrow was felt.

Yes there is someone who did nothing but try to be a real friend to me. Instead of me accepting that and letting things be I went and pushed her away by assuming she was going to br no different than everyone else in my life who treated me like garbage. Even though everything she did showed otherwise. I guess I really hurt her because as much as I have tried to apologize to her she still wont acknowledge me.
