  • Not too often, since I am not a publically emotional person, but when it does happen, I either get very serious and let the people know in low slow tones or I exaggerate my body language (arms moving frantically) and I hold my words for longer. I also usually start a sentence with, "Honestly,...."
  • As a child, I found that I could not understand or read other people's emotions unless they were extreme. So I tended to provoke until I could read them. I discovered much later in life (48) that I have Aspergers Syndrome. +5
  • I often act cold to keep people away from me. If that doesn't work I switch to offended anger. This almost always works. I do this to cover my social clumsiness and inability to read nonverbal social cues (Aspergers Syndrome). It is a survival strategy: better to be thought of as antisocial than crazy. +3
