First the story about that girl who was gang raped for two hours and now this. What a sad story. What a stupid society we live in. This girl is so young, and apparently fucked up from the start, sticking her in jail is NOT going to make her a better person, and it's not going to stop further pimpery. I'm so disgusted.

This judge seems to be a complete moron, given the circumstances. What's sick is we elect people like that, or elect people who appoint these types.

i've seen some grizzly murders by 14 year old gang members that i conclude that there may be some times when folks can not be rehabilitated, but, a just society can not conclude that at the age of the offender's sentencing. a girl killing her pimp. he got some justice, i'd suggest. i hope that they really work to rehabilitate her and release her, although life without parole would preclude that possibility, wouldn't it? i suspect that we're a more just society than we were in 1800 and we'll be much more just in 2200. why's it take us so long to get around to doing the right thing?
