How do I request an option in Ubuntu to make "install updates" not require a password?

this cannot happen due to the security policies that are followed in the development of almost every distro.on the most distros you cannot even change the hour without giving the root password.you can always make a request though here http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community/mailinglists
