The authors of the Bible had not written much science fiction.
I have no idea..how is it more believable? I've read the bible and I've read dianetics and there's nothing in either(even considering both books authors)that was of any real substance that could be backed by verifiable proof..though I must admit the overall "psychology" and self-help approach of dianetics did seem a little easier to swallow than the supernatural divine intervention approach of the Bible.
Well......
I am an aethiest and to me they are both just books written by men. I survived Catholic schools, 20 years in the Marines and 4 years at Purdue studying Electrical Engineering. I have yet to see any proof that there is any kind of Deity, except the word of men. Please don't think I am critical of those weho have faith, I'm simply giving you my take on the whole thing. Further, Ron L. Hubbard is a idiot! LOL
I’ve asked God to know if the Bible be true, and He answered me. I’ve never asked Him about *Dianetics*, but from what little I know of it, I’m not sure it couldn’t also be true. Is there any reason to think the two are mutually exclusive?
Thanks!
Because we as a people are already familiar with the Bible. Mary and Joseph with the baby Jesus at Christmas time. What does Dianetics have at Christmas Time?
