• @Greg - sure, and He’ll speak to you, too; it’s the listening part that trips most people up.
   
  @OZe - how? That’s actually a really tough question to answer. The best analogy I’ve heard is that it’s like trying to describe what salt tastes like: if the other person has never tasted salt, there’s just no way to fully convey it. Thus, the easiest way for someone to understand “how” is to experience it for him- or herself.

The Church of Jesus Christ has over 50,000 full-time missionaries around the world, each serving the Lord (without financial remuneration, I might add) by helping people understand this very thing. It’s actually pretty simple: they stop by your home (or wherever), teach you a few things (including how to recognize God’s voice), then invite you to use that knowledge to figure out for yourself whether or not they’re full of crap. ;-)

• OK! I think that's called you conscience. If I can't record it it didn't happen. Also, don't pretend to extend your' faith on me. I've been through the whole catholic school thing and you're all following "blind" faith.

• Hey, Greg. Actually, no; there’s a difference between your conscience—a.k.a. “the Light of Christ”—and the Holy Ghost. It sometimes takes a while to recognize which is which, but I promise there *is* a difference.
   
  Secondly, just to point out: what we call “blind” faith actually isn’t faith at all; it’s belief. I’m well aware of the teeming billions of religionists that live on so-called “blind faith,” but true faith is always buoyed by individual evidence (see my previous post).
   
  Finally, I’m sorry you don’t think it happened, but I’d appreciate if you didn’t insult me. I understand that all this is outside of your frame of reference, but please don’t claim that just because you don’t know something, that means I don’t, either.
