  • You shouldn't have two anti-virus software running at the same time cause they are in conflict with each other. Run the AVG by itself and see what you come up with, like the name of the virus. Also, I would download the latest version of malwarebytes. You can get it from their website, it's free. Also run a full system scan with that.
  • If the problem still persist after uninstalling one of the antivirus then you have to install windows again after formatting the drive containing windows.
  • You'll be using Microsoft Windows then, yes? Out of all the operating systems, Windows is the one that gets infected the most. This means that there are loads of security products out there for Windows as viruses are such a common occurrence. AVG is really poor (especially the free one) and stopzilla only works against a very small subset of Windows malware - viruses not being in that subset. You'll need to keep trying anti-malware software until something works. Try these in order until something works: Avast! Avira Kaspersky Sophos eset Another way to get rid of nasties is to re-install Windows. In the long run, this can often be quicker and easier than trying to find lots of anti-malware suites and running loads of scans. You can usually re-install Windows in under 8 hours (or about 30 mins if you have a backup), whereas a virus scan can sometimes take 3 or 4 hours. Two failed scans, and you've lost out time-wise.
